CO 1: Evaluate the impact of physiological, psychological, socioeconomic, and cultural factors on health within a person-centered framework for care. (POs 1, 2)

CO 4: Propose person-centered strategies to optimize health outcomes based upon knowledge of pathophysiologic, pharmacologic, and nutritional concepts. (PO 5)

CO 5: Develop person-centered, collaborative educational strategies related to the health continuum that promote quality health outcomes. (POs 2, 5)

Module Objectives

Apply patient characteristics of the AACN Synergy Model of Patient Care to patient situations. (COs 1, 5)

Examine pathophysiology of selected acute illnesses that affect populations (CO 4)

Identify pharmacological and nutritional strategies for improving health outcomes (CO 4)

Propose strategies to restore health across the health continuum (CO 5)

Part 2
