Purpose

Health practices are influenced by a variety of factors, including generational perspectives, health literacy, socioeconomic variables, and access to technology. The purpose of this assessment will explore the health practices of two individuals from different generations. Students will conduct interviews and synthesize information to propose person-centered strategies for health promotion.

Through this assignment, the student will address the following course learning outcomes.

CO 1: Evaluate the impact of physiological, psychological, socioeconomic, and cultural factors on health within a person-centered framework for care. (POs 1, 2)

CO 3: Integrate evidence-based, person-centered strategies to promote quality health outcomes across the health continuum (PO 1, 2, 5)

CO 5: Develop person-centered, collaborative educational strategies related to the health continuum that promote quality health outcomes. (PO 2, 5)

Select two individuals from different generational groups. Using the interview tool (Links to an external site.) provided, conduct an interview with each individual. These forms will be submitted as part of the assignment.

Based upon your readings and information gleaned through the two interviews, complete the Health Practices (Links to an external site.). Include a minimum of three peer-reviewed scholarly sources, current within 5 years peer-reviewed scholarly sources, current within 5 years , to support your work.
