Describe the main characteristics of Roman art and architecture from the Empire, beginning 509 BCE through the 337 CE, until the death of Constantine.

INSTRUCTIONS: You should speak directly to the similarities and differences between the different formats used to represent of men and women in Roman art, and don't forget to comment on the architectural innovations attributed to Roman engineers, many of which are still in use today. Include information about the materials and techniques used, and feel free to include an account of the various different ways in which other cultures you have studied in this course influenced Roman art and architecture.
