 Please come up with two concepts that you think are related to each other. operationalize those two concepts into measurable variables that you could collect data on ( you don't actually have to collect data on them).

- Craft a proper hypothesis set stating the relationship between one variable for each of your two larger concepts. Make sure that your hypothesis set is both mutually exclusive and collectively exhaustive.

short example:

- Our suspicion is that increasing the budget for community policing will decrease the number of assaults.

HO: increasing the budget of community policing will not decrease the number of assaults.

H1: increasing the budget of community policing will not decrease the number of assaults.

the change in option for the dependent variable always goes in H0.

your suspicion always goes to H1

this is not a complete example, its just some of my notes and its not fully complete, But I hope you got the idea of the assignment.
