• The purpose of the term paper is to reflect on how to become excellent managers or leaders in business organizations by drawing implications from the learning material as well as self-assessment.
• Content (70%)
  • Part 1: Identification of management issue
    • Find a management-related issue from newspapers or magazines and try to identify at least two root-cause problems to the issue. Develop a plan to improve the situation or resolve the issue.
  • Part 2: Reflection on self-assessment
    • Provide a summary of all of your self-assessment results based on the feedback that you received from the self-assessment. Identify at least three areas you need to develop further address the issue.
  • Part 3: Leadership
    • Discuss what leadership behaviors or approaches you need to take to address the issues.

Writing (30%)

• Guidelines: use the APA format to write the paper; 2000-2500 words in the main content (excluding the abstract and the reference list); do not write your name on the cover page (subject to 20% reduction in score); abstract (approximately 200 words) that provides the roadmap of the term paper; excellent flow of logic; use deductive paragraph structure; proper use of heading and subheadings; strong conclusion; proper in-text citations; minimum of 30 references of external sources; subject to severe penalty for the violation of the writing guidelines.
