Diversity in the News Topics you may choose:

Choose one of the topics above. Conduct a search of current events related to the chosen topic. It can include any industry (health care, education, sports, government) that is impacted by the specific topic you have selected. This can also include issues you had to deal with professionally.

• Select five news/journals/study/survey/Videos/Podcasts on the one topic you have chosen and summarize your findings, along with citation and references, and post to this discussion.
  • What is going on currently with this issue? Does it provide example of best practices? Example of bad practice? Does it discuss challenges and barriers? Is there a new law, or federal policy, guideline? Has a court issued an opinion on your chosen topic (make sure you include the state where the court decision was held) What is it alerting us to? What would you want the class to be aware on that very topic or its impact on a particular industry?
