For this assignment, you will take on the role of a fictitious system administrator, who was recently hired to join an IT team. Upon your arrival at the organization, you learn that this company was started 5 years ago and needs an IT infrastructure overhaul. While it started out as a single company, it has since expanded not only in its number of locations, but in its use of technology. In fact, a lot of changes in technology have affected how the company is currently performing its daily business routines and processes.

In this written assignment, you will describe how outdated technology affected the company’s growth. You will need to consider the technology that initially was used by the organization, the technology that you will install, and how the new technology will increase the organization’s overall performance.
