Community relations are a large part of business outreach
and growing a brand. If you've been to a community event such as a neighborhood
festival, charity event, or 5K race, you've seen sponsorship banners and ads.
Likewise, you might have seen ads from local businesses in the program at a
school concert or other children's event. Find a business outreach event in

ASSIGNMENT 2
As you have explored in this course, ongoing challenges in
the business environment are mostly attributed to unethical business practices,
failure to embrace technology advancements, and stiff competition among
businesses. Imagine that you have been appointed as the Chief Compliance
Officer of one of the below companies
****you may choose the same company you chose for your 1st
assignment, BUT the content MUST adhere to THIS assignment rubric/questions****
DO NOT use the same content for this assignment as you did for your first
assignment, as your paper will be 1) flagged, 2) it will not meet the
requirements for this assignment!!
You must prepare a presentation for your suppliers regarding
your Supplier Code of Conduct.
This assignment has two parts. You must submit both parts of
the assignment to receive full credit.
PART 1)
For the first part, you are to choose a company and create a
two to four (2-4) minute dynamic video on your company’s Code of Conduct. You
may use any type of recording device you have to create this video (i.e.
smartphone, laptop, webcam, or other type of video recorder). The specific
points to cover for this video are listed below.
OR
As an alternative to the video, you may submit a one to
three (1-3) page memo that details what you would say in such a presentation
following the same prompts as the video assignment below.

Prepare and present a video that is a maximum of two to four
(2-4) minutes OR write a one to three (1-3) page memo in which you:
1. List specific
aspects & parts of your company’s Supplier Code of Conduct, and any changes
that you have made in recent years.
2. In your own
words, explain how each aspect of your Supplier Code of Conduct is committed to
ethical business practices and society social responsibility.
If you choose the written paper instead of the video, your
assignment must follow these formatting requirements:
Be typed, double spaced, using Times New Roman font (size
12), with one-inch margins on all sides; citations and references must follow
our Strayer school-specific format. Check with your professor for any
additional instructions.
Include a cover page containing the title of the assignment,
your name, the course title, and the date. The cover page and the reference
page are not included in the required assignment page length.
PART 2)
For the second part of the assignment, you will create a
presentation using PowerPoint (or other equivalent software) summarizing the
important aspects and explanations
regarding the supplier code of conduct that you communicated in your
video/paper presentation to email to the suppliers after the meeting for future
reference. The specific points to cover are listed below.
Note: If you are using a tablet or smartphone you will need
