According to Dweck, the central concept of the mindset is that \u201cthe view you adopt for yourself affects the way you lead your life.\u201dDweck found that we navigate our lives through these two mindsets.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Difference Between Growth Mindset vs. Fixed Mindset<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Carol Dweck mentioned the following differences between the growth mindset vs. the fixed mindset.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Efforts and Outcomes<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In a growth mindset, it is all about the process. Thus the outcome hardly matters. Success comes to those who do hard work and significant efforts. In a fixed mindset, all you care about is outcomes. And if there is no outcome, then you will think that the efforts wasted. Many recruiters from organizations like NASA select people who have a bounce back from their failures. But the fixed mindset encourages people to stick to their setbacks.
